TeamForge 7.0 on CloudForge
TeamForge servers will be upgraded to 7.0

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be aware that we have scheduled an upgrade to TeamForge 7.0 on CloudForge for early morning September 16th UTC  (late evening September 15th PST).  TeamForge servers will be unavailable at this time.

When: September 16th UTC between 4:30 am-03:15 pm   (September 15th PST between 9:30 pm -8:45 am)

Why: Release of TeamForge 7.0 (see below for new features)

What: All TeamForge services will be unavailable during this time.  If you have "Ticket Integrations" enabled with TeamForge, your SVN and/or Git  services will also be unavailable during this time.

What's New in TeamForge Project 7.0?

If you have questions, please open a Support ticket with CloudForge Support. 

Update: We have completed upgrade on 2 of our TeamForge servers and upgrade is still in progress on our last TeamForge Server. Few customers might not be able to access TeamForge service till this is completed. Our infrastructure team is working on this with high priority and the upgrade will be completed anytime within 2 to 3 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We will further update you as soon as this task completed.

Update: All our TeamFroge servers are now upgraded to TF 7.0 and are up and running. Please verify the same from your end and feel free to file a support ticket if you see any further issues.

    Please note that this release notes is for Enterprise CTF 7.0 (Dedicated to one customer) and so no site wide administrative features mentioned will be available, just like how it is now.

    Hi Mark,

    The maintenance is still in progress. We are in the process of upgrading our final TeamForge server and this should be completed in 30 to 45 minutes from now. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience.

    i still got error when commiting to svn.

     

    Commit: Commit failed (details follow): Commit blocked by pre-commit hook (exit code 255) with output: Integration error: Security exception

    Hi Tajrij,

     

    It seems that that you are getting this error because you have enabled the ticket integration with teamforge, Please follow the below steps for resolving the issue:

    Go to the Project --> go to settings --> uncheck the ticket integration  and this will fix the issue for you. if not let us know.

    We're getting the same error.  I'm confused...are you saying that the ticket integration is broken?  Also I do NOT see that ticket integration checkbox anywhere.  You guys are killing us here!

    Hi Tom,

     

    Sorry for the Confusion, the Ticket integration is a method wherein the commits are configured with the team forge Tickets(artifact). But if you have not assigned that and the integration is enabled, the commit will try to fetch the ticket information , Failure to which the commit declines.

    Any more queries are welcome, we will be glad to resolve them for you.

    I KNOW what the ticket integration is!  My commits fail with the error above regardless of whether or not I include the artifact tag in the comments or not...and I CANNOT find where to disable the integration.

    Hi Tom, 

    Please go to any project home page  --> go to settings (on the left side pane) --> uncheck the ticket integration check box at the bottom of this page under 'Ticket Integrations'. This change will take some time to reflect on the server as the server is still busy processing jobs after the upgrade. So kindly try to commit after 10 minutes once this change is made.

    OK...first of all, when I go to the project home page, the only "settings" anywhere is the button on the top right, next to the "Discussions" button.  When I go there, there's no trace of that setting.  There's a "Project Admin Menu" on the left with selections such as "Project Toolbar",  "Tracker Settings" etc...NONE of those have that integration checkbox.  Also...again...when is the integration going to get fixed?

    Thank you for your patience Tom. This option should be available in your app.cloudforge.com login. We will not find this in TeamForge service. As mentioned in my previous update, I will let you know as soon as we fix this issue. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused due to this issue.

    When I go to the project at app.cloudforge.com, the left hand side of the page has the options OVERVIEW, TEAMFORGE, SERVICES, and INTEGRATION.  Am I in the right place there, because I still can't find that setting in any of those.  By the way, when I went to log into teamforge today I got an "Untrusted Connection" warning in Firefox.  I *know* I never got that before.  Maybe there's a CA problem causing that ticket integration to break?
