What is Amazon S3?
"Amazon S3 is storage for the Internet. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers." For more info click here
Neither CloudForge nor CollabNet is affiliated with Amazon. Amazon Web Services and Amazon S3 are property of Amazon Web Services LLC
What do I need to set this up?
- Amazon WebServices account with S3 enabled.
- Access Key ID with Secret Access Key.
- X.509 Cert and Private Key.
- A bucket created in your S3 service.
You can get your Access Key ID and Secret Access Key in the Security Credentials section. Then, you can also create an X.509 certificate there (keep your private key safe)
Set the target in CloudForge.
Add publisher as a service to your CloudForge Project > Then on Publisher options: Click on the Amazon logo > Fill out the form with your Amazon details:
Create a Recipe for that target (ie: SVN export) > Enter the SVN login details > Enter your Amazon S3 path. ie: s3://yourbucket/ > OK
Note: AWS no longer support SOAP API requests, so you can no longer use the EC2_PRIVATE_KEY and EC2_CERT environment variables. You must use the AWS_ACCESS_KEY and AWS_SECRET_KEY variables instead.
